Ridge position, older bones, big windows
Linksfield sits up on high ground, and a good number of its homes were built to make the most of that — older, character-filled properties with generous view windows, alongside newer builds that have pushed the glazing even further. Original sash and steel-frame windows are still common here, which means single-pane glass and openings that don't quite match modern standard sizes.
That combination — a view worth protecting and an older frame behind the glass — is exactly why the free measure matters more here than almost anywhere else on our books; nothing gets ordered until we've seen the actual opening.
